As soon as you retain the Law Offices of Lee M. Perlman to represent you in a bankruptcy matter, we will begin to request several documents needed to prepare and file your case.
We will request documents such as proof of income, bank statements, tax returns, etc.

Credit Counseling Course
What is credit counseling?
A pre-bankruptcy counseling session with an approved credit counseling organization should include an evaluation of your personal financial situation, a discussion of alternatives to bankruptcy, and a personal budget plan. A typical counseling session should last about 60 to 90 minutes and can take place on the phone or online. A valid credit counseling certificate is required for every bankruptcy case filed.
